Relocating to New Zealand – Now Taking on New Clients!
Professional rider and coach with extensive experience ranging from British Dressage championship-level 4-year-olds to PSG (Prix St. Georges).
With over 10 years of expertise in performance management and young horse training, I’ve had the privilege of working with two Olympic dressage riders, Laura Tomlinson and Becky Moody, and was part of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic support team.
For the past three years, I’ve been mentored by Claire Gallimore, British team rider and Paralympic coach. Through this, I’ve gained deep insights into the renowned TRT method, developed by Tristan Tucker. This approach, combined with my diverse experience, has shaped my training philosophy.
Mindset & Method
I blend my passion for sharing knowledge with a deep understanding of the horse's mind and body, drawing on both my competitive experience and technical expertise to help my clients achieve their best.
A horse's mental state is closely connected to their physical state. I focus on using groundwork as a foundation for better ridden performance. By training their mind through patterns that reduce tension, promote calm and correct engagement, and build a strong partnership, we create a horse that responds positively to ‘pressure’ and performs optimally. Take these foundational practices into your ridden work, refine your technical skills, and use the opportunity to support your horse’s longevity while aiming for peak performance in the arena.
